Welcome to the Global Engineering Certificate page! Here you can find links to helpful Student Resources for the Global Engineering Certificate, get in contact with the certificate support team and find general information about the Certificate. What is the GE Initiative? Global Engineering is all about reconecting the engineering profession and society on a global level. The initiative s

eeks to better train the next generation of engineers to be interdisciplinary leaders, problem solvers, and innovators in the face of pressing issues facing the work today; climate change, poverty, food and water scarcity, and sustainability to name a few. What is the GE certificate? We want to recognize students for going beyond the technical nature of their classes, for questioning what their role as an engineering could be in the global system. By reflecting on classes already built into the engineering core and electives, students take a step in the direction of becoming a global engineer. If any of this sounds appealing, dive deeper into the certificate by reading through the Student handbook and the course sequence found in the link below. Also keep an eye out for information events we hold throughout the year, as well as other special events for global engineers. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B8qo2YJQdKVCXzZmM2xhVXFEV2M?usp=sharing
