About the Role:
Action Fasteners is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Counter Sales Person to join our team. We are a family-owned and operated business that works closely with one another and genuinely cares for our team members and their families. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working directly with customers, understands technical products, and thrives in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide professional in-store counter sales support to customers
*Assist with internal sales, order entry, and invoicing
*Accurately identify tools, fasteners, and hardware using part numbers and specifications
*Respond to customer inquiries and recommend appropriate products and solutions
*Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient counter and sales area
*Collaborate closely with warehouse, sales, and operations team members
Qualifications & Requirements:
*Experience in counter sales, internal sales, or customer service (preferred)
*Knowledge of tools, fasteners, or industrial supplies is a strong asset.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work confidently with part numbers and product specifications.
*Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
*Comfortable using basic computer systems (POS, inventory software, email).
*Team-oriented with a positive, dependable work ethic
*Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with warehouse-related tasks as required.
*Must be generally healthy and able to perform physical duties
*Fluent in English required; French is an asset.
