Can you review this and point out all items that are non-compliant or incorrectly designed?

1. The HVAC "Duct Tape" Special
The galvanized vent pipe (likely a furnace or water heater exhaust) is held together—and apparently "sealed"—with silver duct tape.
• The Code Issue: Exhaust vents must be mechanically fastened (screws) and sealed with high-temperature foil tape or approved mastic. Standard duct tape dries out, loses its adhesive, and can leak deadly carbon monoxide into the living space.
2. Structural Integrity (The Header)
Above the doorway on the left, you can see where the original brick or framing was hacked away.
• The Code Issue: There is no visible, proper load-bearing header across that opening. Instead, there are loose chunks of wood and brick. This is a major collapse risk for whatever is on the floor above.
3. Spray Foam as a Structural Element
The sheer volume of expanding foam is staggering.
• The Code Issue: Spray foam is an insulator, not a structural adhesive or a "fill-all" for massive gaps in brick and plaster. It is also highly flammable unless it’s a specific fire-rated type (usually orange/pink), and even then, it shouldn't be used to bridge structural gaps.
4. Exposed Lath and Plaster
The ceiling shows exposed wood lath that has been partially cut or broken.
• The Code Issue: In many jurisdictions, once you open a wall/ceiling to this extent, you are required to bring the fire-blocking up to modern code. This open cavity acts like a chimney, allowing a fire to spread from floor to floor in minutes.
5. Plumbing and Electrical Mixing
If you look closely near the spray foam clusters, there appear to be wires and copper pipes running in very close proximity to the waste stack and the exhaust vent.
• The Code Issue: Electrical lines must be secured to studs (not dangled or foamed in) and kept a safe distance from heat-producing vents.
