🍂 Fall is officially here! As temperatures begin to drop, it’s a good time to review a few important equipment and radiation-safety items.

✅ Review calibration and leak-testing due dates. Confirm that required services are scheduled and documentation is up to date.

✅ Inspect portable nuclear gauges. Check equipment, transport cases, labels, locks and accessories for signs of wear or damage.

✅ Organize compliance records. Make sure licences, training records, service documents and other required information are current and easy to access.

✅ Review cold-weather storage and transport procedures. Follow your company procedures and the manufacturer’s recommendations when conditions change.

✅ Plan upcoming safety training. Ensure workers have the knowledge and certifications required to perform their jobs safely and confidently.

Beyond collaborating on global market trends, our team got a first look at exciting new equipment coming down the pipeline—including some major product news we can't wait to share in the coming days... 🛠️👀

We also spent valuable hands-on time with InstroTek's lead technician to refine and enhance our gauge repair and service capabilities—ensuring our Canadian clients continue to receive top-tier, certified support back home.

We’re getting a first look at some new and improved products that we’re excited to bring to the Canadian market.

What’s especially encouraging is how responsive the Instrotek team has been to distributor and customer feedback. They’ve been working hard to listen to concerns, identify opportunities for improvement, and make already great products even better.

As they return to continue their Engineering Mechanics studies at McMaster University, we want to recognize their hard work in supporting our busy calibration department.

At Stuart Hunt and Associates, we are proud to foster a culture of training and mentorship. We're honoured to support young Canadian talent and give them real-world exposure to technical skills in their engineering mechanics program.
