When was the last time you evaluated the health of your building's water system?

Many organizations have preventive maintenance programs for roofs, HVAC systems, and life safety equipment, but building water systems are often overlooked.

Water stagnation, temperature fluctuations, low occupancy, and aging infrastructure can all influence water quality and create conditions that support Legionella growth.
Understanding these conditions before issues arise helps organizations make informed decisions about system management, occupant safety, and long-term building performance.

At Pinchin, we help clients evaluate building water systems, identify vulnerabilities, develop water management programs, and implement practical solutions tailored to their facilities.

Is your facility’s ventilation system keeping pace with production demands?

Ontario manufacturers are facing increasing pressure to maintain safe, efficient, and resilient operations. From evolving production processes and aging building systems to worker comfort, indoor air quality, and energy performance, ventilation systems play a critical role in day-to-day facility performance. When ventilation systems are not properly assessed, balanced, or maintained, facilities can experience uneven airflow, poor contaminant capture, employee comfort concerns, energy inefficiencies, and challenges adapting to process or layout changes.

Pinchin’s ventilation engineering team helps manufacturers better understand how their systems are performing and where improvements may be needed. Our team can support ventilation assessments, system troubleshooting, design reviews, contaminant control evaluations, and practical recommendations that align with operational needs and regulatory expectations.

As manufacturers continue to manage costs, productivity, workforce expectations, and compliance obligations, ventilation should be viewed as a core part of operational resilience. If your facility is experiencing ventilation concerns, planning equipment or process changes, or looking for a clearer understanding of system performance, Pinchin can help identify practical next steps.

Connect with Michael Szudy and Pinchin’s team to learn how our ventilation engineering services can support safer, more efficient, and better-performing manufacturing environments.

Post-pandemic, ventilation has become more than a building systems discussion. It's a business, health, and occupant experience consideration.

As expectations around indoor air quality continue to evolve, many organizations are taking a closer look at how their buildings support occupant well-being, comfort, and overall performance. From ventilation effectiveness and filtration efficiency to occupancy patterns and HVAC system capabilities, understanding how air moves through a building is becoming an increasingly important part of facility management.

At Pinchin, we help building owners, property managers, and employers evaluate indoor air quality and ventilation performance through comprehensive building assessments, HVAC evaluations, and indoor environmental quality investigations. Our goal is to help clients make informed decisions that support healthier, more resilient, and higher-performing buildings.
