Spring isolators are selected for more than simply supporting the equipment weight. The spring must operate within its intended load range to provide the required deflection and isolation performance. If the actual load is significantly different from the design load, the spring may not operate at the intended deflection. Accurate equipment loads—and individual support-point loads when available—help make the right selection.
