This customer approached us with almost a full rebuild project on their older stock trailer. At first I really wasn't interested after seeing just how many rust holes opened up after sandblasting and the significant safety issues due to the rotten axle supports. The entire structural integrity of this unit was, gone to say the least.
We took on the project anyways and ended up cutting out the entire bottom end and sub frame, replacing and reinforcing with all new steel. We painted, added new flooring, brakes, all new wiring and led lighting.
For a project I was initially going to walk away from, I'd say I'm pretty proud of the end result.

Raw steel finish sometimes is the most elegant look. We've done everything from railings to custom bed frames like this, always a clean look.

We've been so busy over the last year here at VK that I've forgotten to update any photos of some of the projects we've been working on.
Ill start with this one, some elegant horse stalls we built for a customer, photos are pre-wood inserts. Rustic, raw steel finish with rolling doors and custom built horse shoe closing pins.

Looking for a reliable, hard-working shop hand to join a busy custom metal fabrication shop. Job duties will vary from cleaning, material handling, general shop help, and some welding/fabrication work. Willing to train and apprentice the right person. Welding experience is preferred, but we’re really looking for someone with a good attitude, common sense, and willingness to work and learn. We are looking to hire on a welder with extensive experience as a fitter/welder in both aluminum and steel. Mig, tig and arc processes.
The right candidate will be able to work independently, have no issues lifting heavy materials, have their own transportation, be reliable and take extreme pride in whatever the project may be.
