This is what large diameter pipe fabrication looks like from the inside.

This section, headed to Texas as part of an ExxonMobil project, is wide enough to see clean through to the shop floor on the other side. Fabricating pipe at this scale means every weld and every seam has to hold up, since there is no margin for error once it leaves the shop.

Every hole in a piece of steel like this has a purpose. Drilled clean, spaced evenly, and ready for bolted connections, this is the kind of detail that gets easy to overlook next to the bigger pieces of a project like this. But precision like this is exactly what large scale steel fabrication depends on, no matter the size of the piece.
