⛽ GOOD NEWS AT THE PUMPS! 🇨🇦

The Federal Government announced today that the temporary fuel excise tax break has been extended until January 31, 2027.

That means the federal excise tax will continue to be suspended, keeping:

⛽ 10¢/L off gasoline
🚛 4¢/L off diesel

The tax break was originally scheduled to end after Labour Day next week.

With the ongoing conflict in the Middle East continuing to put pressure on global oil and fuel markets, this extension provides some welcome relief for Canadian drivers, farmers and businesses.

As always, fuel markets can change quickly — but for now, those extra tax cents won’t be returning to the pump next week!

⛽ FUEL PRICE UPDATE ⛽

Unfortunately, we’re seeing another increase in fuel prices as the conflict in the Middle East has escalated again.

After a period of relative calm, once again there are raised concerns about the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important oil shipping routes in the world.

That uncertainty is being felt in the markets, with prices rising further today as markets react to the possibility of continued fighting and additional disruptions to global oil supplies.

Even though Canada produces a significant amount of crude oil, our gasoline and diesel prices are still influenced by global crude and refined-product markets.

For now, volatility is the name of the game. Prices can move quickly in either direction depending on what happens overseas, and we’ll continue to adjust our pricing as the market changes.

Currently at our 24-hour Lucknow & Ripley locations:

⛽ Regular Gas – 169.8¢/L
🚛 Clear Diesel – 224.9¢/L

As always, we’ll continue working to keep our prices as competitive as possible for our customers.
