Cor-Tek Industrial Services – Long Sault, ON
Cor-Tek is a locally owned and operated Welding and Industrial/Commercial repair business who specializes in manufacturing and erecting of structural and miscellaneous steel, aluminum, and stainless steel as well as Industrial/Commercial/Construction repair and Machining.
Position: Millwright/Machinist.
Shifts: Straight days, Monday to Friday 40 hours a week. Some overtime is required
Pay Rate: $25-$35/hour, according to level and relevant experience.

Cor-Tek, in its ever-evolving quest to better serve its customer base, as well as new customers alike is looking to fill a position in it’s Maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
• Preventative maintenance: Performed on various types of equipment.
• Installation: Assemble and install new machinery, aligning and calibrating components as needed.
• Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime in production.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide installation and repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
Candidates are expected to:
• Have a keen eye on finished quality.
• Follow all safety rules and safe working procedures.
• Execute daily work instructions.
• Manage housekeeping activities.
• Maintain strong attention to detail of the task at hand.
• Self-monitor quality of daily activities.
• Work under pressure, alone or in a group with minimal supervision.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in
• Hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves, cylinders, conveyor systems, gear boxes and pump
• TIG, MIG or ARC welding of steel, stainless and aluminum
• Operate machine shop equipment i.e. lathes, mills, drill press…etc.
• Maintenance and operation of machinery in the steel fabrication industry
