Happy Mothers Day to all the incredible mothers out there. The mother is the natural caregiver. In an industry where we meet all types of people overcoming huge obstacles in life we get to meet amazing moms every day. They are out there advocating for their loved ones inclusion, some times advocating for their care. They are out there asking questions, researching and being warriors.

Then there are the mothers with their own disabilities, battling illness and overcoming their own obstacles who are incredible mothers for their children and while they might need to be cared for themselves. They are still somehow managing to be their families rock. We are in awe of you mothers facing adversity in life. It is an honour to be a part of your story. We see you and we celebrate you!

This man. I feel so fortunate to have encountered him through my business. His determination to do better for the disabled and elderly is one of the most inspiring endeavors I’ve been privy too. In the middle of helping his wife through her own health battle and I mean he moved boulders for their life together.. he was still putting the community first through it all. He donated everything he bought and didn’t need back to us and other groups. He put everyone else first and we are honored to have had him be a part of our lives. We had many hour long chats in the store where I had the opportunity to learn about his media pioneer days and all through his days. Truly a hero. I hope to now find the time to fill a bit of his shoes in the Lloydminster Concerned Citizens for Senior Care Society ❤️

It was our pleasure to host these incredible health care professionals for our Medicare Professional Development Day! Huge thanks to our supplier reps for coming to Lloydminster to help us learn so we can all do our jobs to the best of our abilities. We are lucky to have some of the most caring and knowledgeable OT’s PT’s and support professionals available in our communities. The effort these people put into helping people the best they can is inspiring. We are proud to support their continued education.

While we are talking stairlifts did you know Medicare is the only company that doesn’t charge a flat rate for stairlift call out and diagnosis?

We had a special guest in the store yesterday. Niklas Edin the skip for team Sweden is attending the Astec Safety Challenge this week and found himself in a pickle. We hear he won his next game! Thanks to Astec for inviting us to attend the 7:30 pm draw last night. It was great to see the top curlers in the world in action in our home town.
