🔩 Coarse Thread vs. Fine Thread Bolts

Coarse Thread (UNC)
✅ Faster assembly
✅ Better in dirty or damaged threads
✅ More resistant to cross-threading
✅ Better for softer materials and castings
⚠️ Trade-off: Lower clamp load and less vibration resistance than fine thread.
Fine Thread (UNF)
✅ Higher clamp load for a given torque
✅ Better resistance to vibration and loosening
✅ More precise adjustment
✅ Common in automotive, hydraulic, and machinery applications
⚠️ Trade-off: Easier to cross-thread and slower to install.

There isn't a "better" thread. The best choice depends on the application.

Is your battery feeling the heat? 🥵🔋

High temperatures can impact battery performance, but a few simple habits can help keep it running at its best all summer long.

Here are some tips:

✔️Store batteries in an air-conditioned space ideally between 4°C and 27°C.
✔️Allow a hot battery to cool down before placing it on a charger.
✔️If storing for a long time, keep them at roughly 40% to 60% charge rather than completely full or totally dead.
