Breaking down the emergency tools and gear that every truck should have before heading into the backcountry. Whether you’re towing a camper, exploring logging roads, or just taking the family camping, a few simple items can turn a bad day into a minor inconvenience.

💡 BONUS TIP: Something I forgot to mention. I always travel with my camper’s fresh water tank at least half full. If you end up stranded because of a truck breakdown, cooling system issue, or you arrive at a campground with no working water, you’ll still have plenty of water to refill your trucks cooling system, for drinking, cooking, washing up, and flushing the toilet. The extra weight is worth the peace of mind.

CP4 failure can take out your entire fuel system… and cost you $10K+ real quick.

But most of the time? It’s preventable.

If you want a shot at 1,000,000 kms out of your CP4, it comes down to doing a few things right:

• Run quality fuel ⛽️
• Use a good diesel additive🔥
• Stay on top of maintenance🛠️

BONUS ‼️ Install a FASS Fuel system. This increases the Net Positive Suction Head to the HPFP and feeds the CP4 with clean, deaerated fuel.

Take care of your truck, and it’ll take care of you.
