ENEFEN is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada as the first Inspection Body (IB) in Canada to conduct inspections for Field Approval of industrial and commercial gas fired appliance for compliance to CSA B14.1-3. This accreditation allows ENEFEN to provide Field Approval for all industrial combustion applications across Canada. ENEFEN has concentrated on the development of energy efficient, environmentally friendly, and safe combustion solutions for the Canadian upstream oil and gas industry, timber industry, and more. During this time ENEFEN has been instrumental in the development of industry standards related to the design, control, maintenance, and inspection of gas-fired equipment. Based on a combined 70 years of experience ENEFEN specializes in energy efficiency assessments of industrial processes, process combustion system engineering and evaluation, thermal energy studies, direct and indirect heat and mass transfer systems, submerged combustion, thermal oxidation, combustion controls and burner management systems (BMS), process controls, fuel trains and pressure let-down systems, emissions measurement and analysis, gas safety legislation (CSA B149 and NFPA 85 based), combustion system standards development, and combustion technology training. We offer consulting services related to process combustion and heat transfer technologies, combustion controls, thermal energy efficiency, and the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions internationally.
