Big lifts don’t always end at the hook; sometimes they’re just the beginning. Out in Oyen, Alberta, Unit #200-32, our Liebherr LTM 1160-5.1 was on site to hoist an air handling unit into place at a senior care facility. But this wasn’t your typical set-and-go. Mid-air, the load was seamlessly transferred to our industrial moving crew, who took it the rest of the way, safely guiding it into its final position inside the building.

Some projects involve more than technical skill; they require careful handling of historical landmarks. Unit #50-16, the MANITEX 5096S, on site in downtown Medicine Hat, carefully dismantling the iconic hotel sign from one of the city’s oldest and most well-known buildings. This project not only required precision in tight, busy conditions but also marked the respectful removal of a symbol deeply connected to the community’s history.
The work was completed safely, efficiently, and with respect for the building’s history.
