Biomomentum est à la recherche d'un(e) scientifique de recherche pour rejoindre son équipe.

Vous contribuerez à des projets de recherche préclinique en histologie, culture cellulaire et analyses biochimiques afin de soutenir le développement de nouvelles thérapies, biomatériaux et dispositifs médicaux. Vous participerez également au développement de méthodes, à la rédaction de protocoles d'étude et de procédures opératoires normalisées (SOP), ainsi qu'à la production de données scientifiques de haute qualité pour nos clients.

Biomomentum is looking for a Research Scientist to join our team in Laval, Quebec.

You will contribute to preclinical research projects involving histology, cell culture, and biochemical analysis to support the development of new therapies, biomaterials, and medical devices. You will also participate in method development, study protocol preparation, SOP writing, and the generation of high-quality scientific data for our clients.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease characterized by cartilage breakdown and loss of mechanical function.

Human OA samples are limited and highly variable. This limits study size and reduces data reproducibility.

Our instruments enable non-destructive assessment of OA severity before testing. Samples are categorized upfront, which controls variability.

We presented this work at in Charlotte. We compared naturally occurring OA in equine and human cartilage using identical methods.
Consistent trends are observed across mechanics, electromechanical mapping, and histology.

This framework enables controlled, scalable studies on clinically relevant OA samples. It supports reliable evaluation across OA severity levels.
