I still get to weld some parts once in a while… I like the challenge of laying the bead close to the corner edge without breaking it.

This takes a bit more control and aim to keep away from the edge. I didn’t realize how much I’m adjusting the torch angle till I watched this.

These adapter spacers let you use coil overs with a 1/2" lower bearing mount on our axle brackets with 5/8" holes.

When you're using an axle bracket that has 5/8" coil over mounting holes, but your coil overs are set up for 1/2" bolts (QA1 bearing mounts for instance), these spacer adapters will serve you well. CNC machined from C1214L mild steel. The 5/8" OD stud is 1-1/8" long. The tapered portion is 1.5" long...

"I just installed the motor mounts I received from you for my 1936 Chevy 1/2 ton street rod project. I am installing a 4.8 liter LS engine that I built. I've done a lot of this work in the many years of street rod building and the workmanship of those mounts was the best I have ever seen. It took me most of the day to properly fit the engine and transmission to the frame but your cardboard mockup pieces were very useful.

I was a shop teacher for many years and it is so refreshing to see quality craftsmanship in a world where know one seems to know how to build anything anymore.
