Our members are made up of entrepreneurs, innovators, non-profits, for-profits, artists, designers, and freelancers, that all share a desire to build community in Kingston. Our space provides more than just a desk: we are designed with a core culture of collaboration, as an open and inviting space that encourages conversation and communication and as a place that provides opportunities to get to k
now each other, network, share ideas, learn, and celebrate each other’s work. In addition to serving our community of members, we also hope to contribute to the vitality of downtown Kingston, contribute to economic growth to local businesses, facilitate partnerships with our neighbours, and bring together the community-at-large. Co-working Kingston will be located in an open-concept, accessible, and beautiful space in downtown Kingston. Our space will have a few different workspace options to suit the community’s needs – Hot Desks (temporary, shared workspaces); Permanent Desks (a full-time desk or cluster of desks, exclusively yours); or Offices (space with a door, if you need a little bit more privacy). Our members also have access to special programming that will help to amplify their work, projects, and ideas, as well as additional services including high-speed internet, meeting rooms, an event space, photocopy, fax, and printing machines, audio-visual equipment, mailboxes, and shared communal space with comfy couches and a kitchen.
