QSIG holds comprehensive and in-depth discussions surrounding emerging financial and technological trends. The Queen’s Student Investors Group is a new, diverse, interactive club open to all faculties. We hold comprehensive and in-depth discussions regarding emerging financial and technological trends. Rather than lectures on financial theories and stock picking that you can hear in class or from

other clubs, we aim to inform and discuss real-life movements in technology, business practices and investing to better understand how the world is changing, and just how fast. We are the first Queen's club that offers investing and business knowledge to students from all faculties, rather than just specializing in one program. QSIG aims to provide valuable knowledge for students of all programs and specialties that have an interest or are just curious about stock markets and investing. By bringing students together, QSIG can bring together diverse minds and students who have interests in business but are not in the Commerce program. We believe that doing this can offer new opportunities to a whole new group of students that were previously not even noticed regarding business and commerce. As well, we have speaker events from industry professionals and Queen’s professors. With such a diverse group of students from many different faculties and specializations, we can offer you a chance to gain invaluable knowledge that you would never had obtained without QSIG. We can offer you the opportunity to speak to different minds, meet new and creative people you would have never otherwise met, and hear learn from their opinions and experiences.
