As a proud sponsor of the UBCO Aerospace team, we were thrilled to see their rocket, Dragon Lady, take flight at Launch Canada 2026!

This was the team’s highest and fastest flight yet, with a maximum altitude of 17,208 ft and a top speed of 1,182 km/h (almost exactly Mach 1.0). After a week of weather delays and technical setbacks, the team persevered and demonstrated the determination, skill, and teamwork that goes into student-led aerospace projects.

We’re proud to play a part in supporting these aspiring aerospace engineers, and can’t wait to see what they do next.
