Thank You to Our Co-op Students!

Today, we want to recognize and thank our two co-op students, Sarah & Lane as they wrap up their time with Alpine and head back to school.

It has been a pleasure having both of them as part of our team. We truly appreciate the hard work, and enthusiasm they brought to the office and our projects throughout the co-op term.

We hope your time at Alpine provided valuable experience, new skills, and a few good memories along the way. Thank you for everything you contributed to our team.

Wishing you both a great year ahead as you return to school. We look forward to seeing where your careers take you and hope our paths cross again in the future!

The countdown to move-in day is on! Recently, a few team members had the opportunity to tour the new office space and see the progress firsthand as preparations continue for the move at the end of the month. It was an exciting chance to get a glimpse of the future workspace and all that's ahead.

After the tour, the team headed to the Kelowna Paddle Centre for some after-work fun, taking time to connect and unwind.

Stay tuned for more updates as the new office comes to life. We can't wait to welcome everyone into the new space!

Today we’re celebrating Harvey! One of the key people who keeps so much moving at Alpine.

As an E.I.T., Civil Designer, and Project Manager, Harvey brings a strong sense of organization, commitment, and care to everything he takes on. Whether he’s managing project demands, supporting the team, or making time to connect with clients, he consistently shows up with focus and professionalism.

Harvey is someone many of us rely on. He’s responsive, supportive, and always willing to make time to help wherever needed. The dedication and long hours he works reflect how deeply he cares about delivering quality work and contributing to the success of both his projects and the team.

Beyond his work, Harvey is a big part of what makes Alpine such a great place to be. His kindness, positive attitude, and genuine care for others help build strong relationships with both clients and teammates, leaving a lasting impact on everyone around him.

The team recently enjoyed a weekend camping trip at Ellison Provincial Park, spending time together away from the office.

It was a relaxed and memorable weekend filled with beach time, good food, and plenty of opportunity to unwind and connect as a team. Several team members also joined in for a drop-in visit on Saturday, which made for a great turnout and added to the sense of community throughout the weekend.

The weather was hot and the lake was perfect, creating an easygoing backdrop for the whole experience. One of the most memorable moments was watching one of the kids carefully roast a jumbo marshmallow over the fire — a highlight that captured the spirit of the weekend.

A special part of the trip was taking time to recognize team milestones, with three certificates and gift cards presented to Jedd and Lane for their 1-year anniversaries, and Stephanie for her 3-year anniversary with the team.

Overall, it was a great opportunity to slow down, celebrate each other, and enjoy time together outside of work.

Our team wrapped up the day yesterday, by swapping keyboards for bowling shoes and enjoying a little friendly competition!
Between the laughter, good food, and some lively games it was a great way to wind down and reconnect beyond the screen.

We believe a healthy culture includes time to relax, have fun, and build real connections. This team knows how to strike the right balance between work and play!
