September Long Weekend Hours

Wild oat sampling in the field last week!

Our agronomy team has been collecting wild oat samples for herbicide resistance testing. With lots of wild oat escapes showing up this year, we’re testing to get a better handle on what we’re seeing and how we can plan going forward.

If you noticed more wild oat escapes than you’d like to see this season, now is the time to start thinking about next year. Fall is an opportunity to get ahead of wild oat pressure with residual herbicide options.

Don’t wait until you’re looking at them in the crop again next spring. Talk to your Horizon agronomist about your fall wild oat management plan.
