Pressure‑treated lumber is moisture‑resistant, not waterproof.
It’s a tough, durable option designed for outdoor use, however it still needs proper sealing and maintenance if you want long term protection against water and weathering.

Congratulations to Dean on celebrating his 5-year Turkstraversary 🎉

Dean joined the Dunnville team as Assistant Manager and quickly became someone to count on. His positive attitude, great sense of humor, and willingness to jump in wherever needed have made him a valued member of the team.

When he’s not at work, Dean is always finding ways to have fun! You can find him at the golf course, playing poker, cooking up a pot of chili, or simply enjoying a great meal. He also loves spending time with family and friends, whether that’s relaxing at the cottage or heading out for dinner together.

Thank you, Dean, for everything you’ve contributed over the past five years and helping make Turkstra a great place to work. Congratulations on this milestone, and here’s to many more years ahead!

Another year of the under our (tool) belts! What a great night we had connecting and celebrating with the community.

Special shout-out to Hayes Detail Shop for the “Greetings from Dundas” artwork we were able to display on our float.

To WPE Landscape Equipment, we loved collaborating with you and the Dundas Seahawks on your truck this year too!

And of course, a big thank-you to Dundas Museum and Archives for not only organizing such an incredible parade (we’re nodding to you, Austin!), but for also lending us historical photos from their archives, allowing our float to rise to this year’s theme “Legendary Dundas"

A successful project comes to life when the right materials are in the right hands.

This residential addition and back deck came together with pressure treated, drywall, pine v-match, trusses, lumber, and LVL, all supplied by Turkstra. The talented team at Lakeside Home Improvements turned it into something worth swiping through.

Around here, no question is too small, too funny, or too chaotic. No judgement, just support from our team! But in case you were wondering…
👉 Screws come in many different styles, finishes, and sizes. What you need depends on your project.
👉 Hand measurements can help illustrate rough size, but they won’t give you precise dimensions.
👉 Hoping for the best is good but building with confidence is even better! We’ve got the advice you need to nail your project.
👉 There’s nothing worse than project delays because you ran out of materials.
👉 Unfortunately, we can’t loan out tools from the shelf.
