Almost 10 years of life on this roof 🌿

Installed nearly a decade ago, this ZinCo Perennial Garden is a great example of how an engineered green roof system can mature and evolve over time.

This established residential green roof transforms the top of a detached garage into a lush perennial garden, with layered planting, flowering perennials, ornamental grasses, shrubs and cascading groundcovers. Surrounded by the mature tree canopy, the roof becomes an extension of the landscape below.

Proof that with the right system design, plant selection and ongoing maintenance, a green roof can continue to thrive and perform exceptionally well for many years! 🪻

Great way to end the week! 🌱

We welcomed Hilditch Architects and Quinn Design to the ZinCo Canada test plots for a Lunch & Learn and a firsthand look at ZinCo Green Roof Systems.

It was a great opportunity to walk through the test plots, explore different green roof applications and system solutions, and discuss how green roofs can be integrated into upcoming projects.
