Proud to celebrate the official opening of our new Dixon Mississauga location!

We kicked things off with a ribbon cutting to mark this big step forward. The branch sits on a busy four lane corridor and is close to the 401 and 410, making it easier for customers and partners to reach us.

This move represents a major investment from Sonepar to support growth in the region. The new space includes a modern storefront, an improved layout, and a large training room built for customer focused sessions.

Thank you to every team member who helped make this move happen. Your work brought this branch to life.

Last week, Sonepar’s Ontario Region came together for Health & Safety Week, reinforcing that safety is more than procedures, and that it’s a mindset that guides how we work every day.

Associates participated in real-world safety sessions, including Fire Safety and Prevention with Margo Tennant of Brampton Fire & Emergency Services, First Aid Fundamentals led by Polin Hung of St. John Ambulance, and sessions focused on mental health awareness and proper workplace housekeeping.

The week also featured an impactful presentation from Alex Tuff, volunteer with Threads of Life, who shared his personal experience following the loss of his brother in a workplace accident—underscoring the lasting impact of safety on individuals, families, and communities.

Overall, the week highlighted Sonepar’s strong safety culture, where shared learning, meaningful engagement, and looking out for one another are part of how we work.
