Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck/Equipment Technician or Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of equipment types and be able to perform maintenance and repairs efficiently.
Duties:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of equipment including farm machinery, industrial equipment, trucks and trailers, logging equipment
- Assemble new equipment components and ensure it functions correctly
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively
Experience:
- Prior experience in equipment maintenance or related fields such as mechanic, heavy equipment, trucks and trailers
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
