Nak'azdli Development Corporation's investment in the Carmel Inn and Bon Voyage Inn marks an exciting entry into the hospitality industry through a strategic partnership with Growth Hospitality Group, one of Northern British Columbia's largest locally owned hospitality companies. Growth Hospitality has been investing in Northern BC for over 20 years and has built a diverse portfolio of hotel investments across the region.
As a minority investment partner, NDC will participate in the growth and success of these properties while gaining exposure to an established and growing hospitality platform in Northern British Columbia. This partnership also creates the potential to pursue additional opportunities together, including future hotel investments, acquisitions and development.
Beyond the investment itself, this partnership is about creating meaningful benefits for Nak'azdli Whut'en and its Members. This includes economic participation, employment and training opportunities, and greater involvement in Northern BC's hospitality and tourism economy. Over the long term, this investment supports the diversification of NDC's portfolio, which allows NDC to provide a sustainable dividend to Nak'azdli Whut'en.
