Today, we take time to remember and pay tribute to the men and women who have served Canada with courage and devotion. Their sacrifices—both past and present—have secured the peace and freedoms we are privileged to enjoy.

We stand in gratitude for those who gave their lives and for all who have endured the hardships of service.
