The job will still be there when you get back.

I am Morgan ✨ Meet Riley
Riley’s path at Morgan is one we don’t see often — and one worth celebrating. He started with Morgan while still in high school, sweeping floors in the shop, and built his career step by step through education, field experience, and project leadership.

It is this career path that taught Riley all facets of the job, that has shaped Riley into a Construction Manager who understands the work from every angle. He knows what it takes to get the job done and brings that understanding into every decision he makes.

Riley has built trust the traditional way — through honesty, reliability, and respect for the people he works with. He lives Morgan’s values daily, making him a natural and deserving choice for the I Am Morgan Award.

A haul truck gets loaded one bucket at a time and stress works the same way — it builds, and it gets heavy. Don’t carry it alone. Check in on your crew, and check in on yourself.

If stress, anxiety, grief, or burnout is stacking up, carrying it solo can make everything harder — and less safe.
Taking a mental health day doesn’t make you weak, talking about stress doesn’t make you soft.
It makes you human. And on our sites, that matters.

Talking about mental health doesn’t weaken a crew. It strengthens it. Look out for one another, and speak up early.

I Am Morgan ✨ Meet Sarah
The I Am Morgan Award is about more than performance — it’s about impact. It’s about the people who make our work safer, our teams stronger, and our culture better just by showing up the way they do.

Sarah’s journey with Morgan started almost 15 years ago in the field as a Labourer. She learned this industry from the ground up, earning every role through experience, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to doing things right. From Labourer, into safety, and then through the ranks — one role at a time, one site at a time. More responsibility, more trust, more impact at every turn. Each position earned.

Today, as HSE Field Manager, Sarah has a presence that does not go unnoticed. She has a voice that carries — strong, clear, and direct. The kind of voice that doesn't need a bullhorn. If something isn't right, it gets said, and it gets said with a confidence that leaves absolutely no room for misunderstanding.

We’re trained to check our blind spots before we move, because what you don’t see can put you at risk.
Mental health challenges work the same way — they don’t always show up clearly, but they affect focus, decision‑making, and how safely we work. Stress, fatigue, and burnout can sit just out of view until something goes wrong.

That’s why checking in matters. Taking a moment to pause, reflect, and ask how you’re really doing can make a real difference. Paying attention to the people around you, especially when something feels off, is part of looking out for the whole crew.

A simple conversation can surface issues early and prevent something bigger down the road.
Looking after mental health is how we look after each other — and how we make sure the job gets done safely and right.
