Founded in 1887 by prominent Civil Engineers in Canada, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) is a learned society intended to develop and maintain high standards of civil engineering practice in Canada and to enhance the public image of the civil engineering profession. The Edmonton Section is one of many sections across Canada, and provides regular technical programs, supplemented with special technical workshops and seminars of interest to the civil engineering community.

A few weeks ago, we had a great turnout at the site tour of the Dawson Bridge Rehabilitation Project. Attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from the City of Edmonton and project team about the ongoing rehabilitation work behind this 114 year-old-historic structure.
