CTR specializes in refrigeration, commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and building controls.

We specialize in refrigeration, commercial heating, ventilation, & air conditioning systems, and building controls. 30 fully qualified and dedicated journeyman technicians and 10 apprentices make up our mechanical team and we operate twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We design, engineer, install, sell, service, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and building control equipment. We also pro

vide preventative maintenance contracts and ongoing customer support for all of our systems. ��Our specialized systems include: blast coolers & freezers; custom cooling applications; humidification equipment; and computer room environmental control. Our company prides itself on being responsible, reliable, and efficient so we can deliver an excellent level of service to our customers. CTR has been successfully serving the refrigeration and HVAC industry in engineering, installation, sales, service and maintenance since 2000 in Alberta, but have staff that have been in the Industry for many decades.

This custom b**r cooler came together at 53' x 21' x 10' (approx. 1,100 sq ft), designed to deliver consistent cooling and a great in-store experience.

We handled the full build using insulated metal panels (IMP), including walls, ceiling, flashing, silicone, and hardware—plus installation of impact doors and 10 reach-in glass doors for easy access and visibility.

Powered by a rooftop condensing unit and three low-velocity evaporators (~72,000 BTUs total), this setup is built for efficiency and performance.

Congratulations to Gureet Singh Bassi, who completed the SAIT Pre-Employment Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Program (School of Construction) in November 2025.

Gureet enjoyed the hands-on nature of the program and the opportunity to develop skills across refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems, a strong foundation for a career in the HVAC industry.
