Over the past few years, we've had the pleasure of working on many cars for our clients. However only a select few were custom built by S60R: complete, inside-and-out restorations driven by both the ownersโ€™ aspirations and the vision of S60R.

So what does it mean to be built by Sub 60 Racing?

It means a project with no corners cut and no expense spared, resulting in a truly one of a kind machine. To complete such projects, many factors must be considered: timelines, rigorous quality control, and the proper integration of every component. The final product is a machine like no other, one that no amount of money can buy.

Here it is: our NOPRO Miata race car

This car was built for one purpose, and one purpose only: to go fast on track.

Powered by a Maruha 2.1-liter stroker ITB engine, sourced and machined in Japan by JUN Auto. The engine, along with the Nogami Project (NOPRO) widebody GT aero kit, was carefully assembled and installed in house.

Unlike our previous "Dream Miata Build," we didn't tuck the wires or shave the engine bay. But through every little detail, you'll find the "Sub 60" touches: details that not only function right but also look good. From the full custom radiator duct and under panels to the aero discs and half rear bumper, we put a lot of thought into everything.

The car sits on a set of Volk Racing TE37V 2324 Edition wheels, wrapped in Nankang CR-S tires, paired with custom aero discs for better aerodynamics. Behind the wheels, an ENDLESS big brake kit ensures the car stops whenever it needs to.

Introducing the freshly restored 2006 Lotus Elise S2.

Ellia has been a huge Lotus fan ever since we first met him. When the opportunity presented itself last year, he didn't hesitate to purchase this Elise S2 in silver from BC. He later reached out to us, expressing interest in repainting the car white and blending in some JDM flavors. The rest is history.

The entire project lasted six months, and it was well worth it.

We disassembled the entire car inside and out to ensure a proper paint finish on every surface and corner. The car has been professionally repainted in Lotus Aspen White. Since the body is entirely fiberglass, this was no easy task. A set of Magnesium Blue 15" TE37 Saga wheels wrapped in Nankang CR-S tires makes a bold statement that this Elise stands apart from the rest. GRP side steps, V4 LED taillights, and a front lip were added for extra ground effect. Inside, you'll find paint-matched inner door shells, a color-matched center console, and a gated shifter. A Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel and Works Bell GTC tilt hub were also installed.

Hundreds of hours of labor and love went into this build to ensure we could beat the timeline and hand the key to our client just as summer began.
