🤠 THE RIVAL ROUNDUP: SCOTT DINGWALL

Scott spent the first nine years of his life as an only child, a golden era he failed to properly appreciate at the time.

Then, in 1993, Blair arrived.

What followed was a full-time babysitting role through much of Scott’s younger years. These days, they work side-by-side and make a pretty solid team although 33 years of sibling rivalry doesn’t just disappear.

Scott went on to play Eagles high school hockey, where “Dinger” built a respectable career on the third line doing the important things: killing penalties, grinding it out while the coaches kept him as far away from the power play as humanly possible.

Four years.

Zero power-play minutes.

Fortunately, Scott eventually found a sport that suited his competitive nature a little better: fishing. Wabigoon Lake became his real arena, and over the years he’s had some pretty successful days in local tournaments.

Scott doesn’t really do “just for fun” particularly well.

Put a fishing rod in his hand, a boat under him and something to win, and he’s all in.

After high school, Scott headed to college in Barrie, Ontario, where he met the love of his life, Joanna, and quietly collected several highly regarded qualifications in Automotive Management, Bass Fishing and Bull Riding.

Only one of those appears on the official transcript.

Today, Scott and Joanna are raising their two kids, Weston and Evan, along with their family dog, Ripley.

And somewhere between family, work, fishing and a lifetime of friendly competition, Scott decided climbing onto a mechanical bull in front of a packed hometown arena was the obvious next step.

He’ll tell you it’s all for a good cause. That is true.

He also has absolutely no interest in losing.

🔥 Scott Dingwall is officially heading into the arena.

Nearly 33 years of sibling rivalry. One mechanical bull. Zero power-play experience. And absolutely no intention of finishing second.

🤠 THE RIVAL ROUNDUP: TIM KAVANAUGH

He’s taken plenty of hits in hockey… but this might be his toughest opponent yet. 🐂

Tim has spent most of his life in Dryden and Eagle Lake First Nation, growing up playing sports before taking his hockey career to Dryden, Thunder Bay, Ottawa and OCN, Manitoba.

These days, he serves as an Eagle Lake First Nation Band Councillor and on September 12, he’s stepping into a very different kind of arena.

Part of the reason he said yes? The chance to challenge another leader from their sister community of Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation, raise money for a great cause and give back to the communities that mean so much to them.

So yes… there are definitely a few bragging rights on the line. 👀😂

▫️Nickname? Moose, his Anishinaabe name, and pretty fitting considering he was known for laying a few solid body checks in his hockey days. 🫎
▫️Favourite local spot? Patricia Inn Family Restaurant for brunch
▫️Original career plan? Police officer
▫️Funniest moment? Getting hypnotized at an ELFN family wellness event and apparently telling the crowd he LOVES Pilates, something he has absolutely no memory of. 😂

He’s also a proud Anishinaabe father to two boys and one daughter.

Now let’s see how all that hockey experience holds up against four legs, horns and absolutely no penalty box. 🔥

WE COULDN’T LEAVE IT LOOKING LIKE THAT.

This 2-door Bronco got a serious upgrade and the before/after says it all.

We swapped in 255/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac RTs, black rims and finished it off with a fresh tint from Max at Savage & Co. Coatings.

And WOW… What a difference!!

Sometimes a few simple changes are all it takes to completely transform the look of a vehicle.

Watch the transformation and tell us… did we make the right call? 😎

Thinking about changing up the look of your own vehicle? Stop in or send us a message we can help with customization options.

Or better yet… stop in and check this Bronco out for yourself. It could be yours today.
