Our official September float fly is scheduled for the 25 Sept, again, a late afternoon to appreciate the dying winds and sun at our backs.

As a planning note, our October Float fly will be our last one of the season, and will be a morning go with a potluck lunch. More details to follow

We had another great float fly today with 15 pilots in attendance, perfect wind conditions, and as usual a great BBQ. We also had a freshly winged pilot that did his fist float take off and landing. Of note, we had at least 3 maidens, the Tiger Moth, a foam beaver, and 2 WW 1 airplane, congrats on successful first flights.

We had our end of July float fly on Saturday the 25th, the morning started well, with a whopping 17 pilots attending. It was a day of firsts, we did a lot more recoveries than usual, at one point, 4 airplanes needed to be recovered in one outing, we also lost an airplane, we could not find it…. Unfortunately, the wind picked up just around lunch time, however, Angie was ready with the BBQ with a mix of burgers, sausage and hot dogs, with other peoples bringing cookies, muffins, apple squares etc. Overall, A great day ! We had another great float fly today in Deseronto, with a total of 13 pilots, and a lots of interesting flights and some recoveries required. As usual, Angie produced a great BBQ, complete with cookies and cup cakes! Winds and Weather was perfect for flying off the water, with the sun behind us. Overall a great success
