You may not have noticed this picture hanging above our exit door, but it was the first thing to go up on the wall back when we took the store over in 2015. It came from my Grandpa’s house and it has always represented a simpler life, one of hard work, honesty and caring for our friends and neighbours.
Now, it is hung in his memory, and in memory of a generation of farmers who built the lives we still enjoy, reminding us of what is important in this life. Thinking of all the hard-working farmers we have the honor of serving in our store – and truly thankful to live the life that we do.
