**Three years ago this product was a fire extinguisher wedged against a door.**
That's how it gets done on most grating platforms. A rock, a chain, a piece of scrap steel — whatever's lying around to hold a heavy door open in the wind. Every welder, operator and turnaround crew I know has done it. It's a small hazard everyone just learned to live with.
So we built the tool that should have existed: a door stop that locks into steel bar grating and holds an industrial door open in a controlled, repeatable way. No improvising. No junk in the doorway.
