June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to pause, learn, and reflect.

We recognize the deep histories, cultures, knowledge, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, not just this month, but as part of an ongoing commitment to understanding the land, communities, and relationships that shape our work.

Pride Month is a celebration, but it’s also a reminder: people do their best work, build stronger relationships, and create better communities when they feel safe, respected, and included.

At Crozier, we’re proud to build a a workplace where belonging is part of how we show up every day.

Happy Pride!

Every firm has traditions. Ours involves a 1970s Penguin bowling trophy. 🐧

Each time a team member earns their P.Eng. designation, their name is added to the trophy, a longstanding Crozier tradition celebrating the people helping shape communities across Ontario.

This year, we’re proud to welcome John and Adrian to the Crozier Penguin club.

John brings a unique combination of engineering and business expertise, playing a key role on complex, large-scale developments while earning a reputation for professionalism, collaboration, and thoughtful project leadership.

Adrian has become a trusted project coordinator on some of Crozier’s largest land development projects, known for his technical growth, leadership, and ability to guide projects from early planning through construction completion.

Congratulations to both on this well-earned milestone. 👏

We hit the ice this weekend at the Engineer’s Cup, hosted by 4Sight Utility Engineers, and came out on top.🏆

A 3–2 overtime win in the finals against Envision sealed it.

Great games with teams across the industry, including WSP, GHD, CIMA+, and more.

Even better? Supporting the Andrew Watson, P.Eng Scholarship at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Good hockey. Good people. Great cause.🏒

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

Beyond our annual community cleanup, the Crozier Crew is taking meaningful steps to reduce our environmental footprint.

Through Sustainable Waterloo Region’s Impact Network, we’ve committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 20% by 2034 through smarter operations, lower-energy workplaces, and everyday actions that add up over time.

This Earth Day (and every day), we’re proud to make small changes and a lasting impact.

Crozier’s Julie Scott, P.Eng., is helping shape Toronto’s next phase of growth.

As a participant in ULI Toronto's 2025/26 Curtner Urban Leadership Program, Julie is applying deep expertise in land development to some of the city’s most pressing questions—how to enable responsible growth, unlock opportunity, and deliver lasting urban value.

This year’s theme, Meeting the Moment: Leading on Opportunity, challenges industry leaders to reframe today’s economic and housing pressures as catalysts for meaningful, system-level change across real estate and city-building.

We’re proud to see Julie working alongside a cohort of emerging leaders helping define what thoughtful, resilient urban development looks like for Toronto’s future.

At this year’s Source to Stream Conference, Crozier’s Brendan Hummelen is co‑presenting University of Waterloo–led research examining the greenhouse gas dynamics of urban stormwater ponds. The research asks:

Are stormwater management ponds a net source or sink of greenhouse gases? Can their design and management be modified to improve their carbon capture potential?

Brendan brings engineering design perspective to the research, focusing on:

- How stormwater ponds actually function once they’re built
- How they’re maintained
- How design decisions shape real‑world performance

This applied insight helps academic researchers take their findings and develop them into real‑world implementation strategies.

We’re proud to support academic research by contributing practical engineering knowledge, helping connect research outcomes to improved design and infrastructure maintenance.

We’ll see you at the conference!

Five offices. One Crozier.

For one day only, it’s Collingwood versus the World.

Now in its third year, the Copper Cup has become a Crozier tradition.

Team Collingwood goes head-to-head with athletes from Burlington, Bradford, Guelph, and Toronto — all battling for ultimate bragging rights.

After Team World claimed victory in the first two years, Collingwood rose to the challenge and proudly brought the trophy home in 2026.

This is more than a game. This is the Copper Cup.
