💛 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community 💛
📍 93 Years • 5 Generations • Countless Memories
After 93 years of serving Cochrane and the surrounding area, we wanted to take a moment to reflect and say thank you. Below is a message from our family to yours; one written with full hearts as we officially close this chapter.
👇 Please take a moment to read our message of gratitude:
We would like to take this moment to thank our community and the surrounding areas for supporting us through so many seasons of life. For generations, you welcomed us into your homes, your projects, and your stories. You watched our family grow, and we watched yours. That connection, that shared history is something we will cherish forever.
To our incredible staff: your dedication during the retirement sale went far beyond duty. You showed up with tired feet and full hearts, pushing out product, helping customers, and standing with us during days that were both heavy and heartwarming. You held us together. Your kindness, your determination, and your loyalty will never be forgotten.
To our family, who stepped in the moment we needed you, thank you. You carried us through the emotional weight of these last weeks. Your support reminded us that this business was always built on love, love for hard work, for community, and for each other.
Closing the doors on a 93 year old family business is a moment we still struggle to fully put into words. These walls hold nearly a century of laughter, sweat, late nights, early mornings, and dreams shared across five generations. Children grew up here. Lifelong friendships started here. Lessons were learned here. This place wasn’t just where we worked, it was part of who we were.
Albert and Alain walked these aisles with pride, and we know they would be looking down now with full hearts, seeing what this little family business became and how many lives it touched.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say goodbye, who shared memories, who offered hugs, who sent messages or simply took a moment to tell us what this store meant to you. Your stories, some funny, some tender, some decades old brought us both tears and comfort. They reminded us that this wasn’t just a business. It was a gathering place, a familiar smile, a piece of the community’s history.
We will miss the morning chats, the laughter at the counter, the familiar footsteps, the shared frustrations, the victories, and the small everyday moments that made this place feel alive. We will miss the comfort of knowing that each day held a conversation, a connection, or a memory waiting to be made.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for walking this journey with us. Thank you for the love, the trust, the stories, and the generations of support. This chapter may be closing, but the memories will live with us always.
The Brisson and Robin Families,
Kendra, Paul, Keven, Jenny
