At UFA, we're ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐โlike ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ in ๐๐น๐ผ๐๐ฑ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ.
Terra and Ron Weaver raise cattle, crops and sheep along with a few laying hens. They also grow grains and oilseed crops. Once a town kid, Terra embraced farm life over 30 years ago and now leads their busy operation. So well, in fact, she won an AFSC Women in Ag award in 2023.๐
โWe love the freedom to improve our practices every year and to see the rewards that come from our efforts,โ she says. "Farmers care about the environment. It's in our best interest to protect the soil, plants and animals we rely on."
