Position: Apprentice Welder
Location: Calgary, AB
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Hourly Pay (Based on experience)

About Us:
We are looking for an Apprentice Welder to join our team. If you have completed a welding program or are early in your career this position would allow you to learn the trade in a professional setting.

What we Expect:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and shop specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components for machine shop jobs.
- Work closely with machinists and other team members to complete jobs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of second year and second year shop hours.
- Welding knowledge from educational course.
- Familiarity with MIG/TIG welding preferred.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation and good attendance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.

What we Expect:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and shop specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components for machine shop jobs.
- Work closely with machinists and other team members to complete jobs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of welding experience in a machine shop or fabrication setting.
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills (test may be required).
Ability to read detailed blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Experience welding a variety of metals, including stainless and aluminum.
- Journeyman Ticket.
- Red Seal.
- B-Pressure.
