I might have got a first ascent!?.. A bunch of ice formed just right of GBU in the ghost, I think due to all the forest fires the water flow has changed. I climbed this awesome 25 meters of ice with a steep section at the top. The ice was perfect in the morning but started to melt out hard by afternoon. There is not much to rap off of at the top so a V-thread worked good. I was a solid WF4.
I was shocked at the amount of people going into the Ghost. Everyone drives across the river and lines up their 4x4s at GBU for photos. It's just a matter of time before they shut the whole place down. Please "Tread lightly"!
