Most large part machining still involves multiple setups but the Mitsubishi 5-Face bridge type CNC Vertical Machining Center was built to change that.
Table size - 92” x 217”
Between columns - 98”
It comes with a right angle head.

The fixed table and double-column design provides the rigidity needed for heavy-duty cutting in titanium, cast iron, and weldments. The workpiece stays put. The spindle comes to it.
5-face machining.
With the right-angle head, you machine the top and all four sides without re-fixturing. No repositioning error. No handling damage. No lost time.

62,000 lb capacity — Turbine housings. Generator components. Large molds. Aerostructure frames. Weldments. If it fits on the table, it gets machined complete.

Our hearts are with the Stanhope family at this most challenging time.

It is with very heavy hearts that we at Forestnet/Logging and Sawmilling Journal report that Will Stanhope—the son of former LSJ Publisher, and our friend, Rob Stanhope—passed away.
Those of us who were fortunate enough to meet/know Will saw in him a bright, joyful person who loved life, and loved to rock climb. He passed away as a result of a fall while climbing in Squamish, B.C.
Our deepest condolences go to Rob, his wife Shelley, and Will’s sister, Emily.
We’d like to share the online post about Will here, from his family.
“It is with shattered hearts that we share the news that our beloved Will passed away yesterday.
Will lived with a passion and courage that most of us only dream of. He had a prodigious memory and great stories. He was a kind and gentle man with a fantastic sense of humour. The rock was his home, and the climbing community was his family. He faced every ascent with an inspiring spirit.
To all of you who climbed with him, followed his journey, and loved him: thank you for being part of his adventurous life. Your memories of Will are hugely appreciated.
