After a fire and a rebuild, in 1916, the Schwinghamer family carried on the business for many years. Matt & Francis Tarnowski bought the Lumber yard in 1977. They prided themselves in quality products and top-notch service. They served the Bruno & District area for 38 years. In September 2015, Dale and Jenny Glessman purchased the Limited company from the Tarnowski and Olchowski families. Dale man
aged a Co-op in Bankend/Radville/Minton, SK for about 5 years, in which he was in the agro and lumber industries. After that, he was a pasture rider and farmer for many years, until Dale and Jenny moved to Bruno in 2009. Dale then worked at Humboldt Home Hardware as the Lumber Manager for 4 years. Then he worked briefly at Provita Nutrition in Bruno. From 1991 to 1997, while working at the family farm, Jenny managed Manitou Springs Resort in Watrous. After that, Jenny was busy working at a Flower shop, farming and being a 4-H mom. Currently during the day, Jenny works at Sagehill Community Futures Development Corp. During the nights and weekends, she will manage the books for the business. Dale has many years experience in lumber and hardware. Jenny is experienced in small business. Together, Dale and Jenny are both excited to continue to serve Bruno and surrounding area with quality products and service.
