This magnetic lifter came in dead. Corroded board, seized internals, wiring that needed a full redo. Few days later, back in service.

Accurate = close to target.
Repeatable = consistent, on target or not.
A process can hit the same spot and still be wrong. Or average out correct while never repeating the same way twice.
In production, repeatable usually wins.

Nope. That's repeatable, not accurate. Two different things, and the difference actually matters.

Repeatable and wrong is fixable, you just dial in the offset.
Accurate but inconsistent is the harder problem, because you never know which way it'll be off next.
