We are incredibly proud to support Team 16610A Snacky Cakes! 🤖🏆

This amazing team just returned from the VEX World Championships in St. Louis where they placed 2nd in the World Finals. They are the first Canadian team to make it this far in a decade! 🇨🇦

Not only did they win the Innovate Division, but they also took home the Create Award. Their legendary yellow bot design set the standard globally for the entire 12-month season.

We are happy to support the manufacturing students from Garth Webb Secondary School, Grades 9 through 12, by powder coating their projects and returning them with a vibrant finish.

The end results were parts in a polished and durable look. It was rewarding to see their projects looking sharp and ready to be showcased.

Best of luck to the FRC Robotics teams as this year’s games are revealed online on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

At BMP Metals, innovation isn’t just about what we build, it’s about how we build it.

Project Green Heat Efficiency marks a major step forward in how we think about manufacturing sustainability. Designed and executed right here on our factory floor, this initiative improved energy efficiency on our paint line, one of the most energy intensive parts of production. Through a series of targeted upgrades, the project captures and reuses waste heat from our curing ovens to preheat incoming air, significantly reducing the amount of natural gas required for operation while helping us get closer to our net zero goals. This upgrade helps the system run more efficiently without compromising quality or throughput.

The kickoff of Project Green Heat Efficiency took place this week, bringing together the entire team at Bempro Global Group and representatives from Downsview Aerospace Innovation & Research (DAIR). Guests had the opportunity to see the upgraded paint line cooling tunnel CRAC unit, understand the energy-saving systems, and join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

We developed and implemented this solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, lower operational energy use, and create a more comfortable work environment for our team on the factory floor. And yet, this isn’t just a technical upgrade. It is a commitment to making our operations smarter, cleaner, and more focused on the people who make them possible.

We’re excited to announce the upcoming kickoff of Project Green Heat Efficiency at Bempro Global Group Inc.!

With the event less than two weeks away, this milestone marks the launch of a major decarbonization initiative on our paint line. It demonstrates how proven technologies can be reimagined to reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and create a more sustainable workplace.

At the event, the Bempro Carbon Crusaders will present the project to our customers and community members, showcasing how innovation and collaboration are driving Bempro’s net-zero mission.

This is more than an in-house milestone. It is proof of what is possible when advanced manufacturing makes sustainability a core value, and we look forward to sharing this journey with our partners and peers.

We were pleased to welcome Steven Cargnello and Matthew Aiken from the Downsview Aerospace Innovation & Research (DAIR) team to our Brampton facility for a closer look at our Project Green Heat Efficiency initiative.

This project reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability in advanced manufacturing. By reclaiming heat from our paint line process and switching to a low-cure temperature, low-VOC paint, we’re reducing our carbon footprint while improving operational efficiency.

It’s through support of DAIR’s Green Fund that we can accelerate progress toward a cleaner, more efficient future for our industry.
