We have exciting news!
A few weeks ago, Benson Steel proudly received two prestigious awards from the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction! 🎉

Our CEO and President, Stephen K. Benson, was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement "History of Strength Award."
A prestigious honor given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the Canadian steel industry over decades of service and excellence. It recognizes their long-term dedication and achievements in the field of steel construction.

Additionally, Benson fabricated and erected the new Library and National Archives in Ottawa, (Adisoke) and was honored with an Award of Excellence in the Institutional category.

Benson extends a heartfelt thank you to our valued partners for their incredible contributions to the project and to our clients and stakeholders for the support received for over 4 decades now. Together, we continue to build a legacy of excellence!

From June 2020 to present, Benson Steel has been fabricating the steel structure for the renovation of the West memorial building in Ottawa. EllisDon made a wonderful time-lapse video of the project and we at Benson gave it a spin, added music and wanted to share it here. Did you know?
Since June 2023 Benson Steel proudly has been fabricating the structural steel for the Enwave Energy Corporation's new low-carbon heating facility at Pearl Street Energy Centre in downtown Toronto. This expansion and renewal of their facilities will enable Enwave to provide low-carbon heat to Toronto’s district energy grid.
Enwave’s new low-carbon heating facility will be a game changer for buildings that are targeting to reach the highest level of Toronto Green Standards as well as Zero Carbon Building certifications from the Canadian Green Building Council.
