One year ago, we reopened our doors in Dartmouth, NS after an extensive renovation. Today, the shelves are full and the phones are busy.

Our Dartmouth shop is the hub for new motor sales at Rogers — and the largest distributor of electric motors in Atlantic Canada. We carry every major make and manufacturer, and we're the premier distributor for several of them:

• Nidec/US Motors
• ABB/Baldor
• Lafert
• Leeson

Beyond standard NEMA motors, we stock metric motors, HVAC motors, pumps, VFDs, gearboxes, capacitors, transition bases, starters, brakes, and controls — the largest inventory of its kind across three provinces and five locations.

Even though our roots go all the way back to 1967, today we’re taking a specific trip back to the 1990s. Swipe through to see a blast from the past: the old shop and the crew in action.

The best part about these photos? If you look closely, you’ll recognize a few faces that are still key members of our team today. Over 25 years later, the tools have upgraded and the hairstyles have definitely changed, but the dedication of our people has stayed exactly the same. We are incredibly proud of the crew that has been keeping the lights on and driving this company forward for decades.

Fabrication has officially begun on a new domestic cold water booster system for a local municipalities pump house.

⚙️ The Specs:
• Equipped with 3 high-efficiency Grundfos CR vertical multistage pumps.
• Custom-fabricated stainless steel headers designed for maximum durability.
• Future-proofed with a built-in expansion slot to easily add more capacity as the local housing development grows!
