Every part that gets blown off with compressed air leaves something behind: atomized coolant.

That mist becomes an inhalable aerosol, settles as a slip hazard, and saturates dry filters. Pneumatic venturi systems make it worse by consuming compressed air and lagging on suction. The hidden cost shows up in energy bills, filter changes, and floor safety.

The Aeroex Blowbox BB500 addresses it at the source. It’s a mobile, motorized downdraft workstation: a 0.75 HP motor (500–600 CFM) provides instant suction, and 4-stage MERV 15/HEPA filtration handles what’s captured.

Five days. Countless conversations. One incredible IMTS 2026!

Last week was packed with incredible conversations, new connections, fresh ideas, and so much happening across the show floor.

We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by the Aeroex booth, shared their challenges, and talked with us about the future of manufacturing.

One thing we heard loud and clear at IMTS: shop-floor challenges are always evolving. From CNC air quality to keeping workspaces cleaner, we loved connecting with manufacturers and industry friends to share ideas and explore practical solutions for today’s industrial challenges.

How much floor space and uptime is your mist collection system quietly costing you?

Most CNC shops treat sub-micron mist and smoke as a compliance checkbox, not an operational cost. But centrifugal separators vibrate spindles and can bypass fine smoke particles, and standalone media towers eat floor space while their filters rack up recurring costs. The result: degraded surface finish, EHS exposure, and maintenance crews chasing clogged filters instead of running machines.

The Aeroex Mist-Fit takes a different approach. It mounts directly to the CNC enclosure, using a low-vibration motor and 3-stage filtration to capture 99.97% of sub-micron mist and smoke without disturbing the spindle or the floor plan.
