Educational Wednesday 📚

Behind the build: for the last few months, AI has quietly become part of how nearly every department at Paradigm gets work done, estimating, HR, construction, manufacturing, logistics and IT included.

One of our estimators (not a developer) built the app that now runs our entire solar install program. Our HR team offers candidates a first-round interview at 1am if that's when they're job hunting. And every output still gets reviewed by a person before it goes anywhere. The tool drafts. A person owns it.

Our own IT lead wrote up how it actually works, what's off-limits, and where we're taking it next.

Future Ready Homes. Built Today.

Across estimating, HR, construction, manufacturing, logistics and IT, Paradigm now uses Claude to get a first draft on the page fast, so people spend their time on the judgement, not the blank page. Here's how that actually works.

Educational Wednesday, Field Notes Blog 📚

5:45 a.m., pitch dark, and the northern lights over an unfinished frame – a normal morning for our crew building nearly 2,000 km north of Louis Creek, where our factory is, out near Watson Lake, Yukon.

Site Superintendent Kyle Bruce shares what it takes: panelized walls trucked in, crane lifts planned to the minute, blower door tests, and relationships built with Liard First Nation along the way.

Future Ready Homes. Built Today.

Site Superintendent Kyle Bruce takes us nearly 2,000 km north to the Liard region, where crane lifts, sub-zero mornings and Modern Methods of Construction come together to build homes built for generations.

These homes are looking more complete by the day in Watson Lake. and a pretty good view to wrap things up.

Watch another one of our roofs being craned into place at Liard First Nation! 🏗️

We crane our roofs on fully assembled for better efficiency, improved safety, and less time spent working at height.

This one came with a little excitement when a crazy lightning storm rolled through and put craning on pause ⚡️⛈️ Once the weather cleared, we were back at it, and the roof is now sitting nicely in place!

Educational Wednesday 📚

For a decade, home solar has meant a wall of mismatched hardware: inverters, batteries, chargers, all wired together and hoping to talk to each other.

Sigenergy's SigenStor changes that. One wireless, stackable tower consolidates the hybrid inverter, battery packs, energy management system, and direct DC EV charging into a single 5-in-1 system – up to 54 kWh of storage, 25 kW of DC fast charging, and a sub-20-millisecond response the moment the grid drops.

It's now available through Paradigm and Paradigm Solar. Read the full breakdown on our blog.

One wireless, stackable tower replaces the tangle of inverters, batteries, and chargers that have defined home solar for a decade. See how Sigenergy's SigenStor consolidates five components into a single 5-in-1 system — up to 54 kWh of storage, 25 kW of direct DC EV charging, and sub-20-millisecon...

Another step completed before the panels even arrive on site. This wall was delivered with the door already installed in our factory, helping reduce on-site labour, simplify installation, and keep the build moving faster. This is how we’ll be building moving forward – completing more of the work in our controlled factory environment to make every stage of construction more efficient. More work done upfront means fewer steps in the field.
