The position we are looking to fill is for automotive dismantler. This is an indoor position that requires an attention to detail and a vast knowledge of automotive and small truck parts.
Duties:
• Remove parts from accidented vehicles (cars of all sizes as well as small and heavy duty trucks).
• Drain all fluids following environmental guidelines and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow a worksheet that shows which parts to remove from each vehicle.
• Help fellow employees with lifting and clean up when required.
• Help with cleaning parts and putting them away in our warehouse.
• Placing vehicles on stands in our yard according to our standards for safety.
• Removing individual parts from vehicles in the yard, sometimes in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold)
Skills:
• Safe operation of a 4-point automotive hoist
• Knowledge of air tools, hand tools and power tools required to work on vehicles.
• Background in using acetylene torches for heating and cutting steel.
• Experience using a gas powered quick cut saw (large circular blade).
• Able to read and understand written instructions.
• Team player that is looking to excel as a group of individuals working to get the job done together.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment while keeping safety as your top priority.
Job Requirements:
• Must own all of your own basic mechanic's tools, air tools and impact sockets will be provided.
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM (two paid 15 minute breaks and a 1 hour unpaid lunch break) - 40 paid hours per week.
Rate of Pay:
Starting at $24 / hour - possibly higher based on pervious work experience and training requirements.
